David Crump has significant legal practice and litigation experience in the Shenandoah Valley area, both in private firms and in public service.

  • General District Court Judge for the 26th Judicial District of Virginia

  • Municipal Attorney for the Town of Front Royal, Virginia

  • Commonwealth's Attorney for Warren County, Virginia

  • Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Winchester, Virginia

 

David is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and the Ohio State University. He is a United States Army veteran.

David was the Director of Legal Research for the National Association of Home Builders, providing counsel to 140,000+ NAHB members on construction law, business management and liability issues.

 

The creative force behind the NAHB Residential Construction Contracts Project, David was the drafting author of all NAHB residential construction contract forms.

 

He is a nationally recognized speaker and educator on business law and construction liability, lecturing at the International Builders Show, Drexler University, Penn State University, the American Conference Institue, the Defense Research Institute, and builders associations across the country.
